Georgia Birding Trail
Birds Georgia is thrilled to celebrate our centennial anniversary in 2026 with the launch of a state-wide landmark—the Georgia Birding Trail. Designed to connect birders of all experience levels, especially beginners, families, and visitors, this trail will highlight some of the state’s most spectacular birding locations. It aims to draw nature enthusiasts from near and far, supporting local businesses and stimulating tourism revenue in both rural and urban areas. Every stop on the Georgia Birding Trail tells a story of birds, habitats and the people who protect them. By inspiring conservation, strengthening community engagement, and boosting ecotourism, the trail will be a lasting gift for all Georgians.
