The Birds Georgia Photographers Network is a collaborative community of experienced and aspiring nature photographers who use visual storytelling to advance Birds Georgia's mission.

Our members play an important role in helping Birds Georgia share the beauty of Georgia’s avian biodiversity and the conservation efforts that protect it. Through compelling imagery, our network supports outreach, education, advocacy, and engagement initiatives year-round.

If you are passionate about birds, conservation, and photography, we invite you to explore becoming part of this growing community.

What Is the Photographers Network?

The Birds Georgia Photographers Network is a group of 20+ volunteer photographers who contribute images that support Birds Georgia’s mission and programs. Members serve as a creative resource for:
  • The Birds Georgia website
  • The Georgia Birding Trail
  • Birds Georgia social media content (Instagram, Facebook, and more)
  • Email newsletters
  • Educational materials
  • Print publications and promotional materials

Our photographers capture a wide range of subjects, including bird species, habitats, conservation work in action, community events, and milestone initiatives.

Our Shared Vision & Purpose

Capturing Conservation: We provide compelling images of birds and their habitats to amplify outreach across a variety of digital and print platforms (e.g., Birds Georgia website, Georgia Birding Trail materials, Instagram, Facebook, more).

Centennial Storytellers: As Birds Georgia celebrates 100 years, our photographers are capturing the spirit of the Centennial and helping create a visual record for the new Georgia Birding Trail.

Building a Visual Legacy: We are actively building a robust, high-quality photo library to ensure your contributions will inspire others for years to come.

Fostering Connection: We facilitate meaningful social and professional networking, building a community where photographers collaborate, exchange expertise, and celebrate a collective passion for documenting the beauty of Georgia's birds and habitats.
