Birds and Brews: Athens Edition
The Royal Peasant, 1675 S. Lumpkin St., Athens, GA 30606
Wednesday, February 25, at 6:00 PM

Join Birds Georgia for a relaxed Birds and Brews social on Wednesday, February 25 at 6:00 PM at The Royal Peasant, the first of four gatherings in this social series taking place during our Centennial Year celebration! This casual event is all about community. Come enjoy dinner, swap birding stories, share favorite sightings, and connect with fellow bird lovers. While some may choose to grab a beer or cocktail, this is not a drinking-focused event; all are welcome, including students and non-drinkers, to enjoy whatever beverage they prefer. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just bird-curious, come as you are and enjoy a fun, low-key evening of birds and conversation.

BIRDS GEORGIA AT MANUEL'S TAVERN

Early Birds Book Club

The Early Birds is a drop-in book club that meets on the fourth Sunday of each month. The group meets in person at Manuel's Tavern, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM when Birds Georgia is holding an in-person meeting at Manuel's Tavern. The group meets virtually on Zoom when there is not an in-person meeting. There is no commitment other than to enjoy reading and sharing books about birds and birding. Feel free to join us even if you have not read the book!

Our upcoming meetings:

Sunday, March 22, at 2:00 PM (virtual via Zoom) The Early Birds will read Birding with Benefits, by Sarah Dubb. A divorcee embarks on her "year of yes" and crosses paths with a shy but sensitive birder who changes her life in this charming and "spicy" rom-com.
