Where we're located

Picture
Birds Georgia has moved! We are now headquartered in the new Trees Atlanta Kendeda TreeHouse in southwest Atlanta in the Oakland City neighborhood near Adair Park.

We share this unique, collaborative space with three other environmental non-profit organizations - Trees Atlanta, The Conservation Fund, and The Nature Conservancy in Georgia.

Birds Georgia moved to the new location in February of 2023.

Over half of the land on our property has been reforested with over 200 new trees and thousands of native plants. The area is also certified as a Birds Georgia Wildlife Sanctuary.

Injured Birds
Birds Georgia is not a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. If you find an orphaned or injured bird, please contact our friends at Wild Nest Bird Rehab or AWARE or Wildlife Center of North Georgia.  Chattahoochee Nature Center accepts birds of prey, reptiles, and amphibians only.  Animal Help Now is a great resource for those outside of metro Atlanta.
