This year is extra special as we celebrate Birds Georgia’s 100th Anniversary! From April 10 to May 10, join birders and nature lovers across the state for a whole month of birding trips, nature events, and educational webinars during our Flight of the Century.

Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just getting started, Georgia Bird Fest 2026 has something for everyone. Explore Georgia’s top birding hotspots on guided field trips, attend hands-on nature workshops, and hear from expert guest speakers.

Don’t miss our third annual Bird Fest Summit at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, with the main event on Sunday, April 26 — featuring bird-watching field trips, engaging presentations, and fun, family-friendly activities surrounded by the beauty of Piedmont Park.

Your participation in Georgia Bird Fest helps fund Birds Georgia’s conservation, education, and community engagement programs, supporting a future where both birds and people thrive.

Join us this spring for one of the most exciting birding events in Georgia — and take flight with us on our centennial journey!

We're excited to launch our 2026 Georgia Bird Fest T-shirts featuring Atlanta's skyline and Piedmont Park, the city where it all started 100 years ago. This eye-catching design was created by Alexander Vidal. Check out Alexander’s work on his Instagram profile.

This year, we're distributing our T-shirts through Bonfire, and purchasers may choose to print this design on short- or long-sleeved T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and more. Prices start at $24.99, plus sales tax and shipping, for short-sleeved T-shirts. Items will be directly shipped to you via Bonfire.

Special Note for Patrons and Trip Leaders:  Birds Georgia no longer stocks T-shirts, and all inventory is now sold and managed via our online Bonfire store. Unfortunately, we can no longer provide complimentary T-shirts to patrons and field trip leaders. However, you are welcome to purchase a T-shirt in our Bonfire store. Shirts are available in a variety of colors and fabrics, including long- and short-sleeved options, and will be shipped directly to you via Bonfire.
