Join Atlanta Audubon on Sunday, May 19, at SweetWater Brewing Company for the Atlanta Bird Fest 2019 Closing Celebration. We will celebrate our Atlanta Bird Fest participants and volunteers, as well as award prizes to our Big Day Challenge participants. Tasty brews will be available courtesy of SweetWater Brewing Company (ages 21+), including a specialty cask brewed especially for Atlanta Audubon (specialty cask quantities limited).
This year we are excited to welcome Dr. J. Marshall Shepherd, who will give a timely address on climate concerns. Dr. Shepherd serves as Director of the University of Georgia’s (UGA) Atmospheric Sciences Program and Full Professor in the Department of Geography where he is Associate Department Head.
