BIrds georgia scholarship fund
Your gift will support the continuance of the Birds Georgia Scholarship Fund, which will allow us to provide need-based scholarships for Birds Georgia's youth and adult education programs.
Birds Georgia values the diversity of both birds and people, but we recognize that our program participants do not represent the diversity of our surrounding communities. As part of our efforts to make our programs accessible for everyone interested in learning more about birding and natural sciences, we have established a scholarship fund to cover the cost of program participation for individuals/groups for whom cost is a burden
These scholarships are applicable to all Birds Georgia programs for which there is an associated fee, including but not limited to Atlanta Urban Ecologists, Master Birder, Taking Wing, school programs, and webinars and workshops. Birds Georgia is committed to creating educational opportunities that inspire and engage people of diverse backgrounds in conservation by instilling an appreciation for birds and the natural world.
